What a great time and what a great success this year's event was on Saturday, February 18th for our 2012 Bowl for the Cure event! Thank you to everyone who was involved and to everyone who came out to support us this year. Thank you, also, to Earle Brown Bowl and to everyone who sponsored us by donating great items for our Silent Auction and Dollar Raffle! $36,242!! Yes! That is our GRAND TOTAL that we raised at this year's event which will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Way to go CAMDEN ROLLERS! Welcome to our site! We hope you find it informative and easy to browse. Bowl for the Cure is a nationwide breast cancer awareness and fund-raising initiative sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress. Through the efforts of bowlers across the country, Bowl for the Cure has raised more than $6 million since its inception in the 2000-01 bowling season. All funds raised benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Camden Rollers women's bowling league has participated in Bowl for the Cure for the past six years, raising over $127,000 in that time. We are proud to take part in something that makes a difference in thousands of people's lives. Our event takes place at the AMF Earle Brown Bowling Center in Brookyn Center. Our league bowlers do the bowling, but everyone is welcome to come on down and join in on the fun. There is discounted Open Bowling and hundreds of raffle prizes along with a Silent Auction. Come on down and be a part of something great and make a difference in somebody's life. We hope, after browsing our site and learning what we are all about, you will join us in our mission to fight CANCER and be a part of this great cause.
